Our Hassle-Free Returns Policy Guarantees Your Satisfaction

We take great care in our design and production process and will be sure that you will be pleased with your purchases from Villageretreat. However, if you have a problem and need to return items to us our policy is set out below.

Return of goods deigned and produced for you

Unless there is a defect in the product provided, no returns are accepted for bespoke designs that we have been produced specifically for you , unless we agree otherwise which would normally be the case when we can see a realistic probability of beng able to sell the product to a different client. In such circumstances we will normally deduct 25% of the refunded value to cover a stocking charge.

In the case of stocked items from our cataloge or web site, unless they are defective or damaged in transit ( See warranty below) we will accept returns provided that they are returned within 5 days from delivery.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging and must include the delivery note or proof of purchase. We will not refund postage in either direction for returned goods that are not defective.

Unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. Only regular price items can be refunded.

Warranty Returns

In the unlikely event that the received goods are defective through production, we will refund or replace the goods, including postage , subject to the provision of photographic evidence of the defect We may ask you to return the items to us at our discretion . We will normally provide a postage paid returns label for this purpose.

Items Damaged in Transit

If any items were damaged in transit, your rights will be affected unless you report it to us within 48 hours. If the items are visibly damaged on receipt, you should sign the carrier’s delivery note accordingly. Subject to our terms and conditions, once the damaged goods are received back into our facility, we will issue a replacement or a full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse your reasonable return carriage costs. If immediate replacements are required, we will invoice you for these goods and use reasonable endevours to ensure re-delivery is achieved as soon as possible.
